Chester Zoo

We all went to Chester Zoo yesterday, minus Floyd for obvious reasons and I don't expect dogs of any kind are allowed!
The weather was perfect and Isabella was in zoo heaven as she just loves animals. One of the highlights for me at the zoo was the twilight zone. It's a Bat House with all different species of bat flying and swooping just millimeters from you, it's quite dark inside but you can see the silhouettes of bats of all sizes from the tiniest to the large fruit bats.
Isabella loved the monkeys especially the chimps. Early in the afternoon we had a break for drinks and biscuits and where joined by a gang of ckeaky ducks which proceeded to peck at jeans, clothing tags oh and scraps of Isabella's biscuit which went down a treat with Isabella until one mistook her finger for a piece of macaroon! Then they where 'bad' as Isabella said with a few tears. Although minutes later all was forgotten and all ducks have been forgiven.
Truly a great day out was had by all.
